hi,

Recently purchased an alfa 156 and would like to get it checked
over/serviced.Would like advice on any garages in the notts area people
may have used. Service, price, did your car still work etc?

Hi to all of you knowledgable Alfa enthusiasts.
I have bought some new front discs for my 1999 156 selespeed. There’s only
one slight problem – how do I get the old ones off?
Having removed the caliper, the bracket is held in place by two bolts – if I
remove the caliper brackets what holds the disc on?

Hi,

I am looking to buy some parts for my Alfa 156. Specifically I am after
Front spot lamps (n/s and o/s) where do you shop online? Please don;t tell
me e-bay as they are too expensive and then postage gets added on… i’m
after a decent site thats reasonably priced and can offer a quality service
if my lights get damaged in transit.

I would prefer new over breakers but i’m open to offers…

I found  one with 74k and 4 years old…
so what is your experience about milage ? Is it possible over 100 k
milage ?
And what about problems `? Any common problems ?

from cockpit my alfa 156 before face lifting 2001
How to  remove old radio and insert a other radio
radio is tasten with snap lock or what ???????

Last few days for my Alfa 156 2003 JTD now…

Noticed the front spot lamps have both had thier lenses cracked… Bulbs
still work… Is this an easy job to sort out? – the garage are quoting me
180 quid for bulbs and fitting !!!

Anybody know anyone breaking a 156 with both spot lamps intact?

I was wondering if I remove catalyst from my 156 2.0TS, MOT 1999, then I
have to disconnect lambda probe, what will happen regarding fuel consumption
and performance?

Whilst I had an Electrician looking at my 2.4 JTD Sportswagon
yesterday,I asked him to look at my radio arial… the FM works but
the Medium wave does not.

After a bit of hunting we found the arial in the Tailgate with a
Booster attached to it.

The arial and booster checked out OK. But when I pull the arial from
the back of the radio there is no change in the sound, the arial might
as well not be in…..the FM signal works without it but the MW will
not work with the arial in or out.

My question is.. can any one tell me where to look for a break in the
arial lead?

I could rip all the panels out trying to follow the cable route to the
tailgate before finding the fault. But I would prefer to hear from
some one who maybe has had a similar fault? where are the likely pinch
points? Or is there a connection on route that may have come apart?

any help appreciated.
