Greetings Everyone:
My ’86 Spider is eternally cold… Will never heat past about 140. Even
when the weather is warmer. This is okay, but all winter long (the
fifteen times I did drive it) the defrost air is cold, and no interior
heat at all.
Car had a new water pump 1 yr. ago; new thermostat in December; just
flushed the coolant system; the thermostat housing feels very hot, but my
temp gauge reads between 100 and 140, no matter what. Any ideas about
what to try now???? Heater control valve (buried in there somewhere), the
temperature gauge sender (but why doesn’t the interior air heat up?) ?
Thanks, I just don’t know what to do,
CCD
